She writes fiction, essays, humor, and cultural criticism about modern love, sex, aging, relationships, and the strange ways people try to understand one another.

Her work ranges from literary fiction to personal essays to satire, usually with an interest in what happens when desire, identity, and human behavior refuse to follow the rules.

She is the author of three books and is currently working on her next.
